hey babes + shu.. guess I have been mia-ing these few days. Yup I went up to KL for a short trip last weekend. Went to The Mines in KL... really gorgeous place.. take a look at some of the picts..

Just a recommendation. I was at CHIJMES yesterday at this restaurant called Bobby's. n the ribs there were fantastic. the white wine was reeeeeealllly good too. but prices slightly steep. (30 bucks for a main course? but 4 pple can share 3 main courses cuz the portions are pretty big). but can share. the ambiance is very nice.

indoors are nice and quiet, the bar area has nice couches which u can lounge.

outdoors are lighted by candles and if the night and weather are nice, it is a fabulous experience.

soooo... if one day u guys are looking for a place to chill, Bobby's is the place.

Yesterday, it was raining heavily. I was on way to the girl's home at dEfU lane. (FYI, DeFu laNe is at some uLU place in hougang area.) To be in an ulu place is bad enough, to get stuck in an ulu place on a rainy day is worse.

I had to cross the road, and the way of crossing is very weird. U can only cross one direction first, then get stuck in the middle while waiting for the traffic in the next direction to turn red, and then cross the other direction.

So u see... it was RAINING DAMNED HEAVILY. When i was standing in the middle of nowhere, waiting for the lights to turn red, i saw puddles of water on BOTH sides of the road. Only 1 m of free space for me to move abt, water will definitely splash onto me if cars zoom pass. I told myself: "shit, better siam when cars are moving pass me. if not, the dirty water will just splash onto me." So i siam fr one side to the other side and looked so pathetic in the middle of the road.

The traffic light turned yELLOw. YAY! Finally, i was feeling happy tt i manage to get thru the ordeal and was abt to get ready to cross so i was already standing nearer to the road. VOOMMMM.....!!!! yes, it was a car. A CAR! the stupid car beat the traffic light! and next was just SPLAAASSSSHHH!!!

vulgarities spilled out of my mouth.

i was DRENCHED. Drenched not by the rain, but by dirty rainwater...

the morale of the story is: Use a bridge when it is raining.

I went to my best guy friend bday party last saturday and I ordered cupcakes for him. Didnt get to try it though, but it looks pretty cute. It cost me 34 dollars for 16 cupcakes.

Report is due in 2 weeks time. And i am very stressed. The MSE tutors are coming next monday. The mat sci interns already in the editing stage now. I dunno when are CBE tutors turning up. Oh, pray that they will be less efficient. haha!!

GOSH! my report not even half-way through, log book not done yet. And i get distracted so easily so i dunno if i will get it done on time.

Anyway, saw doron's nick online last night. Haha... think he can't get into Shell or what. he was condemning one of the staff in Shell. I think the problem lies in him, and not others.
